Caolion O2 Bubble Pore Pack

This is the coolest exfoliating mask yet. Just as the product says, it's a bubble pack for your pores. It literally bubbles and foams whilst on your face. There are little particles (oats) and the bubbles produced helps exfoliate your face.

Ingredients:
Glycerin, Kaolin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 60, Stearic Acid, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Trimethylpentanediol/Adipic Acid Copolymer, Phenoxyethanol, Charcoal Powder, Triethanolamine, Carbomer, Chlorphenesin, Betaine, Sorbitan Stearate, Dimethicone, Avena Sativa (Oat) Meal Extract, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice), Root Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Prunus Mume Fruit Extract, Rhus Semialata Gall Extract, Vanillyl Butyl Ether, Disodium EDTA, Juglans Regia (Walnut) Shell Powder

I bought a one use pack from Artbox, for about 2000W (less then £1). I prefer getting these one use packs, as they're dirt cheap, and you can try out different kinds of products. If you like it, go on to buy the full version, if you don't it's fine! You've only spent £1 on it.

So, this carbonated mask comes in a square shaped pot, similar to those butter pots in hotels.
It doesn't look like that there's a lot of mask in there! However, I found that a little goes a long way. Of course, as this is a one use pack, I had use the whole thing at once.

Here's a close up of my face, right after I smeared on the mask. It foamed up in less than 5 seconds. You have to spread it on your face pretty fast, or you'll pop all the bubbles which begin to form.

After about 5 minutes, all of the bubbles fully formed. I could feel the tingling sensation as they did, almost like pins and needles, just not uncomfortable! It felt pretty nice, and the sound of the bubbles forming and bursting was pretty soothing.

10 minutes later, the bubbles started to burst, and a gloopy mess was left. This is when you should start massaging and rubbing the product all over your face for about a minute. The little oat particles exfoliate the skin further. After rinsing off with warm water, my skin felt so much smoother. I still have some trouble spots around my chin, where it always feels bumpy, but the other areas are smooth like a baby's bottom!

I'll totally buy this again, and most likely the full version too! The full product retails around 25,000won (£17). You can buy it online at Amazon or Market.

Happy masking!

Kelly

  3. This was very descriptive and the pictures helped. Never done a mask, not really that tpye of gal. Probably wouldn't hurt to treat my skin nice every once in awhile. However I'VE been pretty lucky and don't have many issues.. but maybe after this I'll give it a go. Thanks.

    1. You should start with one of the bubble masks like this one. They're so funny, I had one which made me look like a cloud monster thing.

  5. Hey Kelly. Initial colour had me uncertain, but it sounds like a lovely experience. I get face masks from Lush sometimes. I love the chocolatey one. :D

    1. Yeah, the colour looks really strange. But it feels so good ^-^!
I love Lush, but I wish they would tone down the smells! It always gives me a headache walking in there.
