Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12


Basically, a lot of older people tend to look down on young people. For example, the other day, I had an opinion on whether a 13 year old should be joining a calorie counting site or not. That lady said she was going to delete all people under the age of 26, then another commented saying that all people under the age of 26 drink, have sex and oogle at boys. 


This piece of scripture helps to deal with people who look down on us because we are young. Not all of us are like that. Being stereotyped because you are young makes you feel low, and makes you not want to be-friend the older generation.
