Staring out of my window

with the sunshine glaring through

thinking silently in my head

about how much I love you. 

You carried me in your womb,

raised me since birth

kept me safe and loved me

and held me when I cried

I may have been bad

but you have always been forgiving

even when I made you sad

you make my life worth living

I know these are just words

but they are all very true
