BBIA Eyebrow Tint

Tint for your eyebrows! Who hates drawing them on every day? I sure do, and I don't even have nice eye brows. I've never had them shaped or done anything to them apart from plucking the stray hairs. I want to get them done though, but need to find a decent eyebrow specialist here in Korea. Maybe one day. So, this tint is like henna, you draw it on your eyebrows, leave it on for a specific amount of time, then wash it off. The longer you leave it, the darker it will be.

I bought this BBIA Eyebrow tint for 5000W (£3.40), on Gmarket. I first saw this eyebrow tint advertised on social media and thought, why not. I'm a big fan of trying out the new make up trends over here in Korea. The tint is like a pen eyeliner, it has a thick tip to help cover your eyebrows easily. 

How to use

1. On a dry, non oily face, draw on your brows. Shape them how you want, although stay near your hair growth, or it will look weird. 

2. For the first time, leave on for 5 hours, then wash off. You can remove it after 1 hour, but the longer you leave it, the stronger the colour. 

3. The colour fades naturally after three days, top the colour up and leave it on for 2 hours. 

*If the pen feels like it isn't working, use a wet wipe and wipe the tip. Store it in a horizontal position and don't shake or it will leak*

Right, first off, this pen is naff! The tip dries up pretty quick, and I found it super hard to get the colour onto my eyebrows. The tip  of the pen didn't work well, but the sides did. I had to angle it to get the ink onto my brows.

Above is the swatch test. The one left was left on over night and was the brightest, and it's more of a dark brown with orange tints. The middle one was less prominent, still a brown colour. And the last one was grey.

I used mine over night as my eyebrows are pretty dark. I kinda of hoped to see some result, but after washing there was no difference! Maybe a slight tint, but nothing more. It was really disappointing, and I really hate how the videos on social media "lie". I would have thought there would be some colour after leaving it on for over 12 hours! 

I'm sad that this didn't work, as it looked pretty cool. There are other brands sold though, where you apply the liquid, then peel it off. I might give them a try. However, it might be better to just use an eyebrow pencil. 

What do you think about these kind of eyebrow pens? I always wonder, what if you draw it on and then when you wash it off again and it looks weird or slug like? I'm thinking of trying microblading at some point, but again as I don't have "shaped" eyebrows, it might look weird.
